Terms of Service
These terms govern use of VapeTronics POS Contact, the Google Contacts integration operated by Vapetronics Limited in Trinidad and Tobago. By enabling or using the connection, you agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
Authorized business use
The integration supports Vapetronics’ internal customer management. Access is limited to authorized POS personnel, and Google connection setup requires the POS owner role. The current connection is restricted to the designated Vapetronics distribution Google account; publishing its Google consent configuration does not give the public access to the POS or customer records.
Your responsibilities
- Use only accounts and customer information you are authorized to manage, and provide any notices or permissions required to process customer details.
- Keep login credentials, approval PINs and Google account access secure. Report suspected unauthorized use promptly.
- Check customer details, possible duplicates and failed synchronization records. Maintain appropriate backups before making substantial changes.
- Do not bypass access controls, misuse customer information, disrupt the service, or use the connection for unlawful activity.
Google Contacts synchronization
After Google authorization, the application reads contacts for matching and creates or updates contacts from eligible POS customer records. Synchronization runs when the online service processes eligible changes or when an authorized user starts it. Offline changes must first reach the online POS.
The POS is the source for synchronized customer details. Updates may replace linked Google contact name, phone, email and address fields. Changes made only in Google are not automatically imported into the POS. Wholesale names may include a wholesale-customer label in Google. Synchronization is subject to Google permissions, quotas, service availability and account restrictions, so immediate or uninterrupted completion is not guaranteed.
Disconnecting and support
The owner can disconnect through POS → Super Admin → Configuration → Google Contacts or revoke access in Google Account connections. Contacts already created in Google remain until removed there. Disconnecting or archiving a customer does not automatically delete their POS records or Google contacts. Data requests are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
For support, connection issues or data requests, contact vtdistrott@gmail.com.
Availability and third-party services
The application depends on hosting services, internet connectivity and Google APIs. Maintenance, outages or changes to those services may interrupt synchronization. Google services remain subject to Google’s own terms and policies. This application is operated by Vapetronics Limited and is not a Google product or a claim of Google endorsement.
Changes and access restrictions
We may update the integration or restrict access to protect customer information, address misuse, or maintain service security. Material changes to these terms will be posted here with an updated effective date. These terms do not replace separate employment, customer purchase or supplier agreements and do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
